Red Class Home Leaning Tasks 6.11.20

Dear Parents,

Please see the folders for today's daily work. Please remember to practise daily name writing with your children. Reading on Bug Club is very important and I have allocated a set of books so that you can read with your child daily.

Please email or call the school office if you have any queries and I can respond back via the school email.

Stay safe and well!

Thank You for all your support.

Kind Regards

Mrs Kochhar

Dear Parents,

Please find today's activities in the folders. Today we are looking at the Celebration Diwali. We will explore the story of Diwali and learn all about how it's celebrated in the Hindu culture.

Please read a story to your child daily, early literacy is very important for a child's

development. You can check their understanding by asking some key questions, here are some examples below:

  • What was the story about?
  • Who was your favourite character and why?
  • What happened when.....?
  • Why do you think that happened?

Please do the daily phonics activities, and continue to practise name writing daily.

Hope you are finding the challenges fun and engaging!

Thank you

Kind Regards

Mrs Kochhar

Dear Parents,

We understand the challenges of children being at home and not being at school. Therefore we would like to remind you that if are facing any challenges due to isolation and the home learning tasks, please email the school office and you be will be emailed back. Our SLT are available to discuss any well-being support you need. We value your feedback and please do let us know how you are finding the Learning Tasks!

I would like to send a special message to the children, please let them know that I'm so proud of them and can't wait to see them all next week!

I have added some Phonic Videos to support you teaching your child at home. Please watch the video on how to blend and segment sounds. Don't forget to share a daily story with them as this is very important to develop their literacy skills.

I hope you are finding the tasks fun and engaging!

Thank you
